A remix of declarations of human rights. A spoken and sonic tour of homes made only of music. A live mash-up of Hannah Arendt and Mahmoud Darwish. A crossfade of Syria, Palestine, Germany, the US, and Mexico. Hear my voice. Don’t silence me. Listen for my song.

In the age of mass displacement, there is music everywhere, but what is it for? There is the right to make music, and there is music as a form of rights. So should I stay or should I go? Sometimes singing a song is the only way back to a home that no longer exists.

Specially conceived for CTM 2020, this hybrid performance mixes spoken word, recorded sound, and live musical performance.
