Artists
Johanna Bruckner is an artist working across media who is fascinated by changes in labour emerging in response to new capitalist technologies.
Bruckner is known for output such as “Quantum Polymorphic Sensibilities,” which considers the molecular implications of our contemporary moment’s collapse of space and time. Her “Terra Vague” series considers hackers and their responses to corrupt operations of logistic software.
Her work has been shown internationally, at institutions such as the Venice Biennale, Galerie EIGEN+ART Lab Berlin, Manifesta, dOCUMENTA, and more. Bruckner has lectured at various universities and institutions including the Bauhaus University of Weimar, the Lucerne School of Art and Design, Zurich University of the Arts and the BAC Center Contemporain in Geneva.
