Talk by Jace Clayton

Jace Clayton will discuss the creative upheavals of art production in our globalised world. How are sounds made, circulated, and used, and what new social and economic possibilities emerge? In what what ways can music respond to the current political climate?

Using video and audio examples Clayton will explore some of the themes from his book, Uproot: from the grassroots transformation of digital technology to the power of active listening, with plenty of time for audience discussion.
