CTM is pleased to be featured by partner le lieu unique as part of Au milieu du monde #3, taking place in Nantes, France. Across three different events on April 25, Au milieu du monde #3 welcomes an array of adventurous music.

Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe is an American visual artist and composer who combines voices and modular synthesisers to create intense and improvised music invoking states of trance. At once a composer, producer, performer, and improviser, Mathias Delplanque traverses the spheres of ambient, electronic, electro-acoustic and experimental music.

The avant-garde American artist Holly Herndon creates work at the crossroads of electronic, experimental, and popular music. In May 2019, she released Proto, a surprising album—part organic, part digital—in which she works with a vocal ensemble and artificial intelligence. This marks the French debut of her boundary-breaking show. Queer artist and saxophonist Bendik Giske fuses free jazz with club music; his new album Surrender is a bewitching invitation to travel through the euphoria of Berlin nights.

mobilegirl is the eclectic DJ and producer who weaves together surprising swaths of club-geared tracks. Aquarian makes raw, arresting, and immediate music aimed squarely at the dancefloor, as heard on releases both under his own name and as AQXDM (with collaborator Deapmash). Sarah Farina sprinkles positivity over the darkest bass; she’s innovative, she’s skilful, and she’s the smiling antithesis of genre cliques and sour scene elitists.
