Christian Vialard
[FR]
Christian Vialard is a painter and self-taught music composer. His work with music and sound is a combination of acoustic and electronic phenomena based on the physical and plastic dimensions of sound and light.
His compositions, ranging between electronic music and soundscapes, draw the boundaries of a peri-urban poetic and floating universe. He usually shows his work when performing concerts and within installations for exhibitions at national and international festivals. He is also the founding member and artistic director of the independent music label Tiramizu, an editorial platform dedicated to sound experiments.
Christian Vialard's next album Neukalm will be released on Grautag Records in April 2013. Recorded in 2012 in Berlin and produced by Fred Bigot aka Electronicat, the album is the continuation of the Greetings from Nowhereland album released in 2006 (tiramizu, les disques en rotin réunis) and Leaving Las Vegas (2002). Christian Vialard teaches digital arts at the Villa Arson in Nice, France.
