Oslo-based producer Slick Shoota lays out high-octane sets that draw inspiration from jungle and footwork. His is one of the three organisers of Ball ‘Em Up, an Olso club night that’s invited the likes of Zora Jones, Yung Lean, Jam City, Visionist, and Sinjin Hawke. He has been especially lauded for his remixes.
Slick Shoota has been supported by many prominent producers and DJs including Scratcha DVA, Machinedrum, DJ Spinn, the late DJ Rashad, the Teklife Crew, Oneman, B. Traits, and Monki. He has released music through some of the bass music scene’s top labels and was listed as one of FACT Magazine’s favourite remixers. He also received a glowing review of the Mad Decent-released single “F Dat” on Pitchfork.
