Miriama Kardošová
[CZ]
The work of Miriama Kardošová is based on the body language of performers. She works with the body as an object. She creates costume, movements, and choreography.
Kardošová uses body movement to express natural elements and costumes as symbols of fashion and pop culture. She touch the themes of gender fluidity, tolerance, and human failure. Her work stretches across different fields, as she brings together classical media and performative acts. She works with topics such as individuality, needs, and struggles in a post-capitalist society, considering anxiety and weakness, tolerance and desires. She considers art practices as means for artists to speak their feelings, pleasures, and failures, both as therapy for them but also in the hope of supporting others who might feel the same way.
